Congratulations to the graduates of the Fall 2019 UAB EMT class. UAB stands for User Advisory Board and that group is made up of emergency agencies for which the CCEMS Communication Center handles 9-1-1 and dispatch. UAB Fire Departments sponsor the class and CCEMS coordinates it. A graduation ceremony was held on Saturday, December 14 at the Charles R. Hooks Education Center on the CCEMS Campus. In addition to diplomas, awards were presented for the best crew and the best student which turned out to be a tie between Katelynn Traynor and Amber Taylor.

Four of the graduates applied for the next CCEMS Paramedic Academy which is very selective. All four were accepted and they are:

Amber Taylor is a CCEMS Dispatcher and Katelynn Traynor is the daughter of CCEMS Paramedic Christy Rhodes.
