A few years back someone had the brilliant idea of asking people to buy girl scout cookies for first responders. The customer might be on a diet and say no to the cookies but yes to buying some for first responders. The idea caught on and every year the scouts deliver cookies to Cypress Creek EMS and other first response agencies.
Today, the Girl Scouts of Troop 111039 of the San Jacinto Council delivered 24 cases of cookies to CCEMS. That’s 288 packages that will be divided among the shifts at all stations. While at CCEMS, the scouts had the opportunity to tour Station 59 and its ambulance. Thanks for the cookies from A,B,C, and D shift personnel at all the stations. Here’s a look at their visit.
