Four New Frazer Ambulances Hit the Streets

Four New Frazer Ambulances are on the street making CCEMS an all Frazer fleet. Reserve trucks are half Frazer and half Braun.

Two of the new ambulances were purchased by Emergency Services District # 11 and two were purchased by the CCEMS Board of Directors. There is a lot of work that goes to get new units on the street. Thanks to Maintenance Manager Tony Ghourley and his team: John Molinari, Mike Sommerwerck, and Stephen Reed and our supply folks Vaughan Miller and Amie Charron for making sure all the necessary supplies for the new units were in place. Medic 55 got the first new unit. It was a week of firsts for Anthony Keller who earned his P-2 Credentials, worked his first day as an in-charge paramedic and got a new truck all in the same week.

The old Medic 55 now becomes Medic 563. It was the first Frazer that Cypress Creek EMS ever bought.

The new ambulances come with a new standard for stretcher loading and unloading as demonstrated here.

The second truck went to Peter Harvgrave and Jeremy Sagar at Medic 56. When asked how his day was going, Peter replied, ” A whole lot better, now.”

Two more trucks hit the streets on Wednesday as  Lymar Crockett and Christopher Pena picked up the new Medic 59 and Christopher Moore and Kamron Greer switched into the new Medic 57.
