Blood Drive Results

Thanks to everyone who helped make the Channel 2/CCEMS Blood Drive on June 16th a success. We did our blood drive in honor of Willow Kreitz, an 8-year-old local girl who is fighting Leukemia. Willow is doing chemotherapy and has to have blood transfusions to keep her cell count high enough to help her body fight the cancer. The donors were a mix of CCEMS Employees and residents from our community. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center tells us that the drive bought in enough units of blood products to save 105 lives. Scroll down for detailed results.
