On Saturday, January 21, nearly 100 CCEMS volunteers and members from as far back as our founding in 1975 came together for a reunion. In the afternoon, they toured the Cypress Creek EMS Admin and Education Building, the CCEMS Comm Center, and Station 59. They also checked out one of our new Frazer ambulances and tried their hands at intubating. They tried it the old way and the new way with a camera-assisted device called King Vision. They were amazed by some of the new technology and told lots of stories about the good old days.
That evening they gathered for dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn. There they were joined by CCEMS Founders Cliff and Katy Woodward and some of the folks who did not make the afternoon tour, like Ponderosa Fire Chief Fred Windisch.
