The Annual FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Parade is coming up on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2pm. The parade raises money for the Cypress Creek EMS Scholarship Fund which helps deserving students who want to complete their EMT and Paramedic courses, but are having difficulty paying tuition. Recently, the 1960 Parade was featured on a National Top Ten List. Here’s the story from 1960Parade.com where you can also find out more about the parade route, the Shamrock N’ Run 5K, the Vendor Market and information on when FM 1960 will close and re-open.
On a list of Top Ten Places to Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, the Annual FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Parade checks in at number ten along with that other Houston area Parade. (Folks that attend both have told us our crowds are bigger, although that’s an informal and unofficial estimate)
The Top Ten List comes from a website called Savvy Cities which lists cool things to do in cities all across the country. Read more about it, here.
